DescriptionThis Shallow ogee profile bowl with large iridescent curved rim in Ash was inspired by the work of Mick Hanbury. I part turned the back and top of this piece, coated the rim with a base of black lacquer and applied blue, turquoise, azure and gold iridescent acrylic in a random pattern using thin plastic film. I then hollowed out the middle and reverse chucked the bowl to finish the foot.
