DescriptionA view of Burghley House through one of the arches of Lion Bridge.Lion Bridge spans one of the hand-dug lakes at Burghley. This bridge was built during the construction of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown’s ‘vision’ for the gardens at Burghley. The work started in 1756 and took 25 years, his longest-ever commission.Extensive restoration work has taken place over a two-year period to repair the stonework and ironwork and de-calcify the stonework. The image will be supplied in a lustre finish as a 16 x 12-inch unmounted print on Fuji Professional photo paper. It will be packaged in a strong cardboard box directly from my supplier.UK orders will be sent First Class post, and European orders will be sent Royal Mail Airmail. If more than one print is ordered at the same time to the same address there will be just one shipping charge. When mounted in the colour of your choice, it will fit a standard 20 x 16-inch frame (the second image gives an impression of how the print will look when framed).I can only dispatch to the UK and European Union countries.
