Styled for DMC’s 100% Baby Cotton, this adorable combination is a knitting pattern for a sweet flower bud stitch patterned sweater and cardigan. It is made in pieces and sewn up. This design will fit babies from newborn through to 2 years. Uses the soft and gentle, French DMC Baby Cotton or any suitable double knit or 8 ply yarn. Rated “intermediate” skill level. Contains 6 sizes for under 2 year olds. Knits to a gauge 22sts x 28 rows to 10cm, over reverse stocking stitch using 4mm needles, and 20sts x 23 rows to 10cm, over flower bud stitch using 4mm needles. Uses 3-6 x 50g balls of DMC Baby Cotton for either the cardigan or sweater (depending on size). Needles: 3mm and 4mm needles or as required to make gauge. Also Requires Stitch holders and 5-6 buttons for the Cardigan.
